Elevated Arts
Elevated Arts is located at 1821 18th ST NW, Washington DC and will be our pickup and drop off location to begin and end our tour. This partnership enables us to offer exclusive access to the Elevated MEMBERS ONLY lounge. As an added benefit, the Elevated lounge will be stocked with complimentary munchies and non-alcoholic beverages. While there, feel free to inquire about other activities such as Paint classes and Elevated Yoga.
Washington Monument
Commemorating our first President George Washington, this monument is the largest obelisk and predominately stone structure in the world. One of our countries most recognizable and iconic monuments ever built.
WWII Memorial
This memorial is dedicated to the Americans and civilians who served during WWII. Have fun finding your state and make sure your High Guide takes a picture of you with it. Feel free to stick your toes in the water.
Lincoln Memorial
A neo classical temple built to honor our 16th president. This memorial is not only one of our nation’s largest tourist attractions but more significantly, it is a symbolic center and gathering place dedicated to improving Americas race relations and political movements.
Vietnam Memorial
Honoring service members who died or are missing from the Vietnam War. The wall of names is a sombering reminder that casualties aren’t numbers, they are people with families. Please feel free to leave flowers or tributes if you happen to be visiting or paying homage to one of these people.
White House via Black Lives Matter Blvd.
An opportunity to witness this generations civil rights movement en route to the first family’s home, the White House.
The Korean War Memorial
A memorial dedicated to the veterans of the Korean War. Often overshadowed in history, the Korean War is one of our nations hardest fought and bloodiest wars which lead to lasting global ramifications rarely discussed.
The Tidal Basin
A beautiful viewpoint of Washington DC located between the Potomac and Washington Channel. This is the main focal point of the Cherry Blossom Festival.
MLK Memorial
The Martin Luther King JR memorial is a 4-acre tribute to one of our nation’s greatest civil rights leaders. The highlight of the memorial is called the Stone of Hope which is made entirely of granite and was inspired by the “I Have A Dream” speech.
FDR Memorial
Dedicated to our 32nd president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, this 7.5 acre memorial is the 2nd one built in DC to commemorate FDR who served the most terms and guided our country through many of the most trying times.
